Dear Country Meadows Families,
Another great week of learning was capped off with the Cub Crawl! Students participated in a walk/run around the school campus. The Crawl began with an entire school warm-up and a little bit of fun dancing. The students enjoyed being outside with the entire student body and staff and it was a great way to spend the morning exercising. Take a look at the pictures below!
COUNTRY MEADOWS CLUBS
Registration for Country Meadows Clubs ended at 4 pm today (9/20). If you registered for a club, you will receive a welcome email from the club sponsor soon. If a club that you registered for reached capacity, you will be notified via email and placed on a waitlist. I am so encouraged by the amount of students that registered for clubs and I look forward to seeing these clubs in action! Please remember that clubs for 1st and 2nd graders will be available later in the school year.
NEW *PTO UPDATE*
Lots of fun coming up soon! Save the date for the amazingly fun and hugely beneficial Carnival Night Fundraiser on 10/25! The PTO organizes more than just fundraisers, so to see how we do everything from the Yearbook to the Cultural Arts assemblies for our kids, join the info conference call on 9/25. REPEATING *UPDATED APPROVED SNACK LIST*
The District has revised the APPROVED SNACK LIST. This list includes foods that are approved for students' Daily Snacks.
It also includes foods approved specifically for Special Events such as birthday treats for a class or for PTO class parties.

REPEATING *SCHOOL HOURS*
Arrival time is between 8:10am and 8:20am. The tardy bell rings at 8:25am. A parent/adult must accompany tardy students into the office and sign them in if you arrive after 8:25am. Do not drop your child off at any door since all doors are locked and secured at this time. Please be aware that while we try to keep clocks on time, they can sometimes run a minute or two fast. If there are no adults outside, please walk your child into the front office.

Estimadas Familias de Country Meadows,
¡Otra maravillosa semana finalizó con el Cub Crawl! Los estudiantes participaron en una caminata/recorrido alrededor del campus escolar. Este evento empezó con un calentamiento y un poco de baile. Los estudiantes disfrutaron al aire libre con los demás estudiantes y todo el personal, fue una gran mañana de ejercicios. ¡Mira las fotos!
La inscripción para los Clubs de Country Meadows Clubs termina hoy a las 4 pm (9/20). Si usted inscribió a su hijo para un club, usted recibirá un correo indicando la bienvenida al club. Si usted inscribió a su hijo a un club que está lleno, recibirá un correo indicando que está en una lista de espera. Me encanta ver la cantidad de estudiantes que se han inscrito a los clubs y espero ver a estos clubes en acción! Por favor recuerde que los clubs para los estudiantes de 1er y 2º grado estarán disponibles más adelante.
NUEVO *ACTUALIZACIÓN DE PTO*
¡Se aproxima mucha diversión! Marca en tu calendario el 25 de octubre ya que será el divertidísimo y beneficioso Carnaval de Recaudación de Fondos! El PTO organiza más que recaudaciones de fondos, así que para ver cómo realizamos el Anuario o las asambleas de Artes Culturales para nuestros niños, únase a la llamada de conferencia del 25 de septiembre. REITERACIÓN *LISTA ACTUALIZADA DE MERIENDAS APROBADAS*
El Distrito ha revisado la LISTA DE MERIENDAS APROBADAS. Esta lista incluye alimentos que son aprobados para la Merienda Diaria de los estudiantes.
Esto también incluye alimentos que son específicamente para Eventos Especiales tales como cumpleaños o para fiestas de los salones del PTO.
Puede encontrar los enlaces a La Lista de Meriendas Aprobadas del Distrito y a las Preguntas Más Frecuentes sobre la Lista de Meriendas Aprobadas en el sitio web de KCSD96 y en la página principal de cada escuela.
REITERACIÓN *Horas Escolares*
La hora de llegada es entre las 8:10am y las 8:20am. La campana de llegada tardía suena a las 8:25am. Un padre/adulto debe acompañar a los estudiantes que llegan tarde hasta la oficina y registrar su entrada si llega después de las 8:25am. Favor no deje a su hijo por cualquier puerta ya que todas las puertas estarán cerradas en este momento. Por favor tenga en cuenta que mientras tratamos de que todos los relojes indiquen la hora correcta, a veces algunos pueden estar adelantados. Si no hay adultos afuera, por favor encamine a su hijo hasta la oficina.
