Ice Cream Social Pre-Order Deadline Is Today
Today ~ Friday, October 14 ~ is the deadline to pre-order for the Ice Cream Social for Thursday, October 20, 2022.
Please join us at Willow Grove for a night of ice cream, activities, and fun from 6 to 7:30 p.m. October 20.
The ice cream this year will be from Culver's! We will have vanilla, chocolate and lemon ice (dairy-free option). You are HIGHLY encouraged to pre-order your ice cream on your Membership Toolkit account for $3.50 each.
Ice cream will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis at the event for $4.

Scholastic Book Fair Runs October 17-21
It's that time of year again...the annual Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Willow Grove from October 17-October 21!
Please log into your Membership toolkit and sign up to walk through the fair with your child and his or her class. Please note that you must update your membership toolkit family profile to include your child's current teacher: https://wgkcpto.membershiptoolkit.com/volunteer/99912
Also, please consider setting up an e-wallet for your child to use to shop during the fair. It works just like a gift card so your student does not need to bring anything to the fair but his/her love of books and reading! Any unused funds go onto an e-gift card which can be used to make future purchases through Scholastic and/or fund an e-wallet at a future Scholastic Book Fair, even if it's at a different school.

PTO Dinner Night Out Is October 26
Please save the date for our next PTO Dinner Night at Weiner Take All in Buffalo Grove ~ 1117 Weiland Road ~ on Wednesday, October 26th!
Just mention the Willow Grove Fundraiser when ordering and 20 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the school!
Halloween Parties Set for October 31, 2022
Our room parents put together a fun celebration in each classroom on Monday, October 31!
Here are the times for the parties:
- 10 to 10:45 a.m. (Kindergarten, Structured, and AM Blended/ECSE)
- 2 to 2:45 p.m. (PM Blended/ECSE)
Only approved PTO parent volunteers may enter the building for the classroom parties. Every PTO volunteer approved to come into our school MUST have his or her license or ID scanned through our security system to enter. There is always a very long line at this first party, so please anticipate this. We highly encourage PTO room party volunteers to swing by Willow sometime in October before the party to have a license scanned, which will speed up the process.
