Thank you Willow Grove families for all of your support for our PTO activities! It's been a great year despite the unprecedented circumstances. Please read this very important information below regarding yearbooks and a special gift for our kindergarten students!
CURBSIDE YEARBOOK PICK-UP
Our yearbook vendor had a delay and we were not able to get our yearbooks prior to the last day of school. However, our PTO and Yearbook Committee are committed to getting these to you as soon as we get them in. If you ordered a yearbook, please mark your calendar. We are holding a curbside pick-up of yearbooks in the Willow Grove parking lot on Sat., June 13, 10 AM–2 PM, similar to the materials pick-up process.
** Please read the following thoroughly**
DIRECTIONS
- On Sat., June 13, between 10 AM and 2 PM, please pull into the main Willow Grove parking lot.
- Drive up near the PTO and Yearbook Committee volunteers at a tent or table. Do not exit your vehicle.
- Hold up to the car window a sheet of paper with your child's first and last names and grade level (EC or Kindergarten) printed in large bold print so volunteers can easily see it.
- Pop your trunk/tailgate open and a volunteer will place your yearbook in your vehicle.
PLEASE DO NOT EXIT YOUR VEHICLE. Try to keep your windows closed. We want to keep everyone as safe as possible in this delivery. Once you have collected your yearbook, please leave the school grounds promptly.
If you cannot pick up your yearbook during this time or will be leaving the school district, please contact the PTO at [email protected] to see if alternate pick-up arrangements can be made. All yearbooks not picked up will be returned to the school and will be routed to your student's next District 96 school in the fall.
SPECIAL GIFT FOR THE STUDENTS
In a joint effort with Willow Grove and the PTO, we are giving each student an end-of-the-year book and activity kit to celebrate our hard-working students! We will commemorate achievements throughout the year with a special book Only One You by Linda Kranz and by painting river rocks at home as inspired by the book! After your student finishes painting, you can return to the school to display your child's pebble art in the outdoor courtyard behind the cafeteria, bringing joy to the new students of Willow Grove year after year!
We will have more information on pick-up or delivery of your student's commemorative gift when we get confirmation of when the books will arrive from the publisher. Each kindergartner will also receive a complimentary *8-1/2 x 11-inch Willow Grove Class of 2020 sign to display proudly on their window or door. Congratulations on achieving this milestone!

ACT BY JUNE 1! INFORMATION REGARDING CANCELED PTO EVENTS AND PROGRAMS
Refunds for canceled PTO events and programs due to the government-mandated school closures will be available to all Willow Grove parents upon request beginning May 15. These events include remaining Dessert Days that were not fulfilled (up to $6) and Pizza Bingo Silent Auction prizes that are unable to be filled due to the school and statewide closures.
There are two options for refund requests:
- Request a manual check for your refund
- Donate your refund to a special PTO fund to provide a year-end book and community activity gift for each student in co-sponsorship with Willow Grove.
