Staff Appreciation Week
As the year comes to an end, we have one last opportunity to show how much we appreciate all the staff at school! Staff Appreciation Week is May 6–10 and we need your help to make it the best week ever! The PTO has come up with some themes for the week, but there are also spots if you want to be creative and come up with something on your own. If you are interested in helping, please sign up for a slot in our Sign-Up Genius. Thank you for all your support!
Year-End Picnic
Join us on May 16 from 6-7:30 PM for the Year-End picnic to celebrate the end of a great school year. The event will happen rain or shine. In the event of rain, it will be in the gym. We will be serving food from Culver's and Kona Ice will be there to provide a refreshing treat. We will have a DJ, fun activities for the kids, AND a grab bag item for children 3 years or older (first come, first served).
Pre-order your meals on the Willow Grove PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT by May 12 so we can get a sense of what we need to order. The link to order is on the home page once you log in.

Supply Kits
Avoid the shopping hassles and store crowds and purchase your school supply kits now!
Willow Grove Kindergarten and Early Childhood supply kits are for sale now through June 12. (Please note that incoming Willow Grove families have a longer ordering opportunity than at D96 elementary and middle schools, to accommodate new families not yet receiving our communications.)
Kindergarten supply kits are $78 dollars and Early Childhood kits are $38.
Supply kits will be sold through June 12. Orders can only be placed online via the Willow Grove PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT. Kits will be available at Willow Grove on Meet-the-Teacher Day prior to the first day of school. Questions? Please contact the Willow Grove PTO.
How do you order a school supply kit for your current Willow Grove kindergartner, who will attend Grade 1 this fall?
Be sure to order your incoming 1st grader's school supply kit before June 1 from the PTO at the school your student will attend beginning in Aug. 2019.
