Who wants ice cream?!
The Willow Grove PTO Ice Cream Social is approaching quickly; if you plan to attend, please get your orders in. This is a family event–siblings are welcome. You can place your order on the Willow Grove PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT (MTK). If you're not sure whether you placed an order, you can check Order Forms/Previous Orders to see what you've already ordered. Orders via MTK are due by Oct. 1. You still can order the night of the Ice Cream Social, but your pre-order will help us order a more exact amount.
Start collecting Box Tops!
Next week–Oct. 1 through 5–we will be collecting Box Tops! The class that collects the most Box Tops wins a prize! Teachers will be collecting the Box Tops in their classrooms, and there also will be a drop-off container in the school office. Please make sure to bring the Box Tops in a plastic bag labeled with your child's teacher's name. This PARENT LETTER includes details. We're partnering in October with Cards for a Cause.
What is Cards for a Cause and what is our cause, you ask?
Cards for a Cause offers hand-embellished cards that come individually wrapped with decorative envelopes for different occasions. The cause we are supporting is to continue to update the Willow Grove Learning Center to make it a playful/fun environment for the children. Each box is $30. During the Ice Cream Social (Oct. 18), we'll have a table where you can view the cards available. Your order will be delivered in November in time for you to pick up at Parent/Teacher Conferences. Dessert Day!
If you missed the first Dessert Day, it's okay, because there still is plenty of time to order for October. Place your order through our MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT.
