2020–2021 Calendar Change Notification
District 96 has made revisions to the published Quick List calendar for the upcoming 2020–2021 school year.
The revisions made accommodate the alignment of the District 96 Spring Break 2021 with the recently published Stevenson students’ Spring Break 2021.

Family Educator Conferences ~ Monday, November 25 & Tuesday, November 26
We are looking forward to seeing you at conferences next week, sharing your child’s successes and partnering with you for continued growth. While you’re in please stop by our learning center for parent learning opportunities provided by our Willow Grove coaching team.
Childcare will be provided throughout the conference times, beginning at 4:30 PM on Monday and 1:30 PM on Tuesday. Childcare is for ages 2 and up only.
Monthly Payment Coming Due for Willow Grove Full-Day Kindergarten Tuition
The District 96 Business Office will send an email on or around the 25th day of this month notifying of the next monthly tuition payment due.
Please note that the monthly payment of $203.68 is due by the first day of next month.
Monthly payments are processed through the K12 Payment Center–the same site used for making student lunch payments.
REMINDER: A $15 late fee will be added for any monthly tuition payment received after the 10th of the month in which the payment is due. If you have questions, please contact District 96 Business Services Coordinator Michelle Whitlow [email protected]

This year, you will see social emotional learning targets on our student's report card. Please watch this video to learn more about social emotional instruction and reporting. There will also be parent sessions at family educator conferences next week if you are interested in learning more about social emotional learning.

Cultural Fair - Join us December 5th from 6-7:30 PM
We are excited to host the third annual Willow Grove Cultural Fair for all families on the evening of Thursday, December 5th, from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Siblings are welcome to attend. Families may choose to wear traditional clothing from their country of origin or heritage. We hope to encourage our students to learn about other cultures, to celebrate what makes us all unique and to recognize cultural traits that we share. We couldn't do this without our parents and staff. THANK YOU to those who have volunteered! Activities include:

Visit countries from around the globe and children collect stickers on pretend passports

Countries visited will share artifacts, traditions, customs, crafts for kids to do, games, etc.

Family performances throughout the evening!

Sample foods from around the world. All food sampling will take place in the cafeteria only.
We hope to see you there! This is a wonderful event, thanks to the families and staff who put time and love into such a special evening, as well as the those who attend to enjoy the night! Thank you so much!
Food Pantry Donation Drive
It’s time to rally around a cause as a school community! Please consider donating to our donation drive to support the Vernon Township Pantry. Donations will be collected between December 2nd through the evening of our Cultural Fair, December 5th. Our students get very excited to see all we can do to support others as donations pile up throughout the week and the evening of our Cultural Fair, Thursday, December 5th, from 6-7:30 PM. Please help us to make this a success by collecting for this great cause and sharing in the experience and gratitude of giving to others. Thank you!

SHS Consortium Poster Design Contest
Stevenson invites students in Pre-K through Grade 8 to submit poster designs for Consortium Orchestra, Band, and Choir posters. Entries are due by Fri., Nov. 29.

El Pago Mensual Vence Pronto para la Matrícula de Kindergarten de Día Completo de Willow Grove
La Oficina del Distrito 96 enviará un correo electrónico cerca del 25 de este mes avisando sobre el pago de la matrícula del próximo mes.

Feria Cultural - Acompáñenos el 5 de diciembre de 6 PM a 7:30 PM
Estamos emocionados de presentar La Tercera Celebración Anual de la Feria Cultural de Willow Grove para todas las familias, la noche del jueves, 5 de diciembre de 6:00 p.m a 7:30 p.m. Los hermanos también son bienvenidos. Las familias pueden elegir usar vestimenta tradicional de su país de orígen o herencia. Esperamos animar a nuestros estudiantes para que aprendan sobre otras culturas, para celebrar lo que nos hace únicos y reconocer las características culturales que compartimos. No podríamos lograr esto sin nuestros padres y personal. ¡GRACIAS a todos aquellos que han sido voluntarios! Las actividades incluye:

Visite países de todo el mundo, y los niños podrán coleccionar calcomanías en sus pasaportes de juguete.

Los países que visite compartirán artefactos, tradiciones, costumbres, manualidades para niños, juegos, etc.

¡Habrán presentaciones de familias a lo largo de la noche!

Habrán muestras de comidas de todo el mundo. Esto se llevará cabo solo en la cafetería.

Campaña de Donación de Despensa de Alimentos
¡Es hora de apoyar esta causa! Por favor considere donar a nuestra campaña de donación para apoyar la Despensa de Alimentos de Vernon Township. Se van a recaudar las donaciones desde el 2 de diciembre hasta el 5 de diciembre durante la noche de nuestra Feria Cultural. Nuestros estudiantes se emocionan tanto de ver todo lo que somos capaces de hacer para apoyar a los demás mientras se van juntando las donaciones a lo largo de la semana y hasta la noche de nuestra Feria Cultural del jueves 5 de diciembre de 6 a 7:30 PM. Concurso de Diseño de Póster del Consorcio SHS
