Cultural Fair & Student Assembly - A Big Thank You!

What a special evening we had on Thursday!  We had an incredible turnout and it was so wonderful to have so many of you here to enjoy the night.  Thank you for attending and participating in all of the fun!  To the families who provided food, activities, performances, artifacts, storytelling, and more, THANK YOU!  This night would never be possible without your participation and you made it so special.  Thank you to our PTO for providing supplies that made our evening run so smooth.  And to the wonderful Willow Grove staff, you're incredible!  Thank you for all you did to make this night such a success.

I took lots of photos on my "good camera" last night, and I'm eager to sift through them and present them to everyone!  Those will be coming in the next week or two.  I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to photography...and you know what they say...you don't rush art. ;)

Lastly, the students enjoyed an incredible assembly to get them in the spirit of the Cultural Fair on Thursday.  We had a traditional Korean drumming and dance troop mesmerize us with their dragon, drumming, and dancing!  It was a delight to watch the kids be so filled with joy and excitement.  There are more pictures on my Twitter account, linked at the bottom of this message.

After School Sports & Games Club-Session 2

The After School Sports and Games Club will be starting a new session in January! Join Mrs. O'Gara on Thursdays from 3:00-3:45 PM for all kinds of fun! Make new friends and learn new games! We will be focusing on teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive social engagement. Adult supervision will be provided at Willow Grove from 2:45-3:00 when the club begins. You may wish to send a snack from the approved snack list for your child to eat during this time. There are only a limited number of spots available, so sign up quickly! Priority will be given to students who were not able to join us in the first session. All other students will be placed on a waiting list. Parents will be notified by e-mail either way. This club will run on Thursdays from January 10th to May 9th. Hope to see you there! KCSD 96 Approved Snack List
