At the beginning of the school year, the Buffalo Grove Public Works Department asked Ivy Hall students to submit potential names for the naming of a new snowplow. The names were submitted to the Buffalo Grove Public Works Department, and the name that was chosen was the Ice Breaker 3000. This name was submitted by Mrs. Cappelen's class. Ivy Hall students had the opportunity to see our school-themed plow today during recess on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021.
