Human Growth and Development Parent Night
Please see your home school's Principal Message for information on how to RSVP for the 4th and 5th Grade Parent Night on April 10th for the Human Growth and Development unit.
Deadline: April 15 for Current Grades K and 5 to Reprove Residency
District 96 families of current Kindergarten and fifth-grade students are reminded that they will need to reprove their residency by April 15.
To reprove residency, scan or take a photo with your phone and email to the administrative assistant at the school your current Kindergartner or 5th grader now attends: 
- Current monthly mortgage OR lease statement OR property tax bill OR Warranty Deed, and
- A current utility bill (e.g., water OR electric OR waste collection), and
- This Proof of Residency Form (completed and signed)
Your current kindergartner’s or current 5th grader’s teacher assignment/schedule will not be provided for the 2023–24 school year until residency is reproved.

School Supply Kits for the 2023-24 school year are now available to order. Ordered kits will be shipped to your home in August.

Your Last Chance: Final Days for the 5Essentials Parent Survey
Your school administrators have bragged about how D96 families "represented" by submitting 5Essentials Parent Surveys ~ enough so that many of the schools will have a report with feedback for administrators. .png?mask=4)
In this final push, keep it going: Through Sunday, April 2, those of you who have not yet shared your thoughts on the inner workings of your child’s school can do so. On behalf of the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois 5Essentials Survey will be administered online by UChicago Impact at the University of Chicago.
As a parent, this opportunity will allow you to share your thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness in a survey about your child’s school. Your participation will help us understand the conditions at your child’s school and guide our improvement.
Parent identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.

Kildeer Celebrates Spirit Week: Kildeer Countryside Elementary School students finished off their week before Spring Break by celebrating Spirit Week, finishing up some assignments and enjoying a Positive Paws celebration on the playground.
So Fancy at Willow Grove ~ Willow Grove celebrated Spirit Week this week, winding up on Thursday with “Fancy Day.” … and yes, they were so FANCY!!!
