E-NEWS 96, Nov. 19, 2021

Follow Kildeer Countryside School District 96 (KCSD) on Facebook and on Twitter.

Next week is a very short week for us ~ we attend school on Monday and Tuesday, before we move into our Thanksgiving break.  Enjoy your time away from school and remember to stay well

Because next week is a short attendance week, the District is not distributing PCR screening kits on Monday or Tuesday.

We look forward to seeing you when school resumes the following Monday, Nov. 29.

Trimester 1 Report Cards Available Online

More Information:  This video addresses the progression of grading from trimester to trimester, explaining how a standard that repeats is not expected to be mastered until the final trimester it is addressed.  See the video.

In addition, please see information on understanding the report card.

GCI Connection: 'Humans of D96'

District 96’s Guiding Coalition of Interculturalism (GCI) features one of its members in its latest “Humans of D96” series, where he shares about growing up in Mumbai and his appreciation of his home of 20 years in the United States.  Visit Instagram to read his post.

GCI was created “to reflect and connect KCSD96 values of diversity and inclusion, aligning parents, educators and students.”

If you’d like to share a snippet of your story for the “Humans of D96” series, please contact Lubna Andrabi, Community Family Liaison, at [email protected].  You do not need to be a member of GCI to share your story.
