KCSD96 Tech Staff report that storage space on student iPads is a common issue they are addressing. Please encourage your student(s) to delete any apps, photos, videos, or files that they no longer need on their iPads.

TRIMESTER 1 REPORT CARDS AVAILABLE ONLINE
View your KCSD96 student’s Trimester 1 report card online. These INSTRUCTIONS will help you view your child’s report card and switch between multiple students in your family.

PREORDER FREE MEALS
Support from the US Department of Agriculture Summer Food Service Program has made it possible for all District 96 families to receive free breakfast and lunch meals for their students. Families are asked to preorder meals for the week to come by 10 AM on the Friday before it.

Pick up preordered meals 11 AM–2 PM on Mondays (3 breakfast/lunch meal packs) and Thursdays (2 breakfast/lunch meal packs) at either Twin Groves or Woodlawn Middle School. At the school, follow these routes for picking up meals, please: TWIN GROVES MAP  |  WOODLAWN MAP

This program serves students through age 18, but the current online ordering system does not accommodate students who are not currently enrolled in District 96. Please request meals for your older students from the staff delivering your preordered meals to your vehicle. Extra meals will be available to meet this anticipated need.

SEE INFO about creating an account and preordering meals. Please direct your questions to the public info coordinator.

KIDS HELPING OPPORTUNITY and HELP RESTOCK THE PANTRY
Paper bags are needed at the ELC Food Pantry. If you’d like to involve your children in helping their community, grocery size paper bags decorated with their hopeful messages and artwork will be welcomed.

Donations of the following pantry items from families able to do so also are needed:
macaroni & cheese (cups or boxes) and Helper Meal Kits, canned foods (veggies/fruits/tuna/chicken/beans), granola bars, pasta sauce/pasta, cereals and oatmeal, and dried beans and rice.

Please deliver on weekdays when school is in session only to collection boxes outside the ELC front entrance, 990 Corporate Woods Parkway, Vernon Hills, from 8 AM–3 PM. Ring the doorbell if delivering perishable items or gift cards or if there is not a collection box outside the door. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing when delivering your donations.
