Free Meal Pick-Up 2021 Summer Schedule

FOR THE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY WEEKEND: District #96 will distribute 5 days worth of meals on Wednesday, June 30, at Twin Groves and Woodlawn middle schools.  There will be no meal delivery on Monday, July 5. The regular schedule resumes Wednesday, July 7. 

PLEASE NOTE: Free meals (3-meal bag) will be available for pickup on Wed., June 2, at Woodlawn Middle School only.

Beginning the week of June 7, free meals may be picked up on Mondays and Wednesdays, 11 AM–2 PM, at either Twin Groves Middle School, 2600 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove, OR Woodlawn Middle School, 6362 Gilmer Rd., Long Grove. 

On Mondays, meal bags for 3 days will be distributed. On Wednesdays, meal bags for 2 days will be distributed.

There is no preordering required. Meals will be distributed while quantities last. At both Twin Groves and Woodlawn, a limited number of vegetarian meals will be available for pickup.

Attention Parents: Please see the emails sent by School District 96 on Mar. 19 and find your student’s name and student ID number listed at the top. That student ID number will be needed to create an account to receive free meals. If you did not receive this email, please contact the public info coordinator.

FREE MEAL PREORDERING AND PICK UP - Revised

Effective Fri., Jan. 15, District 96 parents of IN-PERSON students will use the LINQ Online Ordering System (onlineordering.linq.com) to preorder free meals for their students ONLY on the days their students will be learning IN PERSON in the school building. Preorder by 6 p.m. on Thursdays for the coming week. ALL in-person students are eligible to receive free meals.

NOTE: It is no longer necessary to preorder free meals for students who are learning remotely. Pick up meal supplies for five free meals on Wednesdays, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.,  at Twin Groves or Woodlawn Middle School. EFFECTIVE Apr. 28, free meal pick-up for remote students will occur at Woodlawn Middle School ONLY.
