Save the Date for the Scholastic Book Fair, from April 17 to 22!
The students will be going with their classrooms to shop and then again to purchase as they did in the fall. As always, you have the option to set up an e-wallet for the students. We need volunteers to help run the book fair. Please consider volunteering for a two-hour shift.
The sign-up is on MTK with a list of times and days the classrooms will be coming, so you can see when your child will be there!!

Enjoy Depidy Dawg Ice Cream Truck
Depidy Dawg Ice Cream truck will be at our Book Fair/Ice Cream Social from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20. The PTO is sponsoring one ice cream per child. Looking forward to this fun family event!

5th Grade Night Out: April 28
Our 5th Grade Night Out is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023.
The 5th Grade students from both Country Meadows and Kildeer will be participating in team-building activities at Woodlawn Middle School, in an effort to become more familiar with one another, as we embark on the transition to Middle School. 
This event was created in hopes your child might see another familiar face on their first day of middle school at Woodlawn.
THIS EVENT IS FREE! Pizza, snacks, and drinks are provided.
Registration on the day of this event starts at 5:30 p.m. to ensure that all activities can begin at 6 p.m.
Students will be provided an event T-shirt, take-home gift bag and name tag.
Students will be broken up into groups of 15 to 20 to participate in activity stations. Be sure that your child wears comfortable clothing and shoes as some of the activities will require physical activity.
Parent volunteers are needed to support the activities and supervision. This is a great opportunity for you to meet parents from our partnering school as well. Please consider volunteering!
Sign up your child via MTK (to ensure we have enough supplies! Thank you!) MTK is also where you will request T-shirt size, if your child is unable to come to the event. Please fill out this form even if you are not coming.
