Oct. 6 ~ Portillo's Dinner Night Fundraiser and Spirit Fun

Don’t worry about dinner Wednesday night! Just order out, or let’s eat together at this fun community outing! Please join us at Portillo’s, 221 W. Townline Road in Vernon Hills, on Oct. 6, between 5 and 8 p.m.! Please note: 20 percent of the proceeds benefit Country Meadows! 

Wear your Country Meadows spirit swag, and you might just run into a surprise with the biggest school spirit fan around! Don’t forget to show this attached FLIER.

Each year the PTO sponsors meals for our teachers and staff during family conferences.

Oct. 20: Save the Date ~ Fall Festival!

It’s almost time for our first community event! Mark your calendars for one of the most fun times for families to spend together at school after hours! This will be an outdoor event (weather permitting, following Covid safety protocols). 

We are currently looking for any local businesses interested in promoting their business by making a donation of a product or service for our silent auction and raffle. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please contact Erin Ferguson at [email protected].

Oct. 29 ~ Class Halloween Parties

Please be aware that many classrooms still don’t have enough volunteers to help with the class parties. We truly don’t want to have to cancel any classes, and we cannot avoid it while short-staffed.

The following classrooms still don’t have enough parent helpers:

  • Kolpak
  • Zimmerman 
  • Gorodiski 
  • Diaz
  • Perales

Please reach out to your teacher and connect with your Room Parent to see if you could help. It’s only an hour at 1:45 .p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29. Thank you!
