Thank you for the hard work and dedication of our Country Meadows Staff.
It's been a beautiful week of gratitude to our staff and teachers. Thank you to our amazing committee for putting together such creative ways to thank our beloved Country Meadows family. The teachers and staff enjoyed a catered breakfast, a candy shop, "Hungry Mule" Eatery, Thirsty Thursday drinks, and a Pizza Pub. Thank you to all our generous families for your donations. A special note of thanks to Lindley Caldwell and Kelly Difino for coordinating, planning, and putting together all the incredible details for this week!
5th-Grade Night Out – May 13, 4–5 PM

Hosted by Howard Wallach – DJ GAME SHOW HOST MUSICOLOGIST – from AZ Entertainment, this virtual event will include both Country Meadows and Kildeer 5th graders and will provide an opportunity for the kids to get to know each other and to be entertained.
A Woodlawn Cooler Cup will be available for pickup on the day of the event. In-person students will receive their cup in class and remote students can pick up their gift cup in the entryway of Country Meadows on May 13, 8 AM–3 PM.
PLEASE NOTE: 5th graders will need 2 electronic devices to play a trivia game during the event.
The Zoom link will be provided on their Clever page closer to the date of the event.
5th-Grade Graduation Celebration Parade – May 27, 4–5:15 PM
Calling all 5th graders and your families! Please join us in celebrating the 5th graders at Country Meadows via a drive-thru no-contact parade. Lots of fun, and giveaways, too!
The PTO is purchasing Country Meadows sweatshirts for all of our 5th-Grade students!

Committees for Next Year
We don't want to reduce the opportunities we have planned for our kids for next year. Without your time and effort, however, we cannot plan as many events or enriching experiences. Please consider donating a little bit of your time next year by joining a PTO committee. There are quite a few roles still available to help you get involved. Please see the Country Meadows PTO MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT.
Specifically, these events and programs risk cancellation if no committee chairs step up. Talk to your friends and volunteer together, making this a fun opportunity to do good together!

New PTO Executive Board for 2021–22
Congrtulations to our newly elected Country Meadows PTO Executive Board, announced at our May 5 General Meeting. We are happy to say that we have a nice mixture of returning and new Board members who will continue the mission of building a strong CM community by providing enriching social and interactive programs for our students and their families in collaboration with the school staff.
