May 3–7 is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. The Country Meadows PTO is working hard to prepare some appreciation goodies! Thank you to everyone who's already donated supplies! The Past Couple Months of PTO Fun
It seems like we've been so far apart with remote learning, colder weather, and Spring Break, so it's been awhile since the PTO has shared all that we have been up to! Hopefully, your kiddos have shared their joy with you and you've seen some social media updates. Just to give you an idea:
The PTO hosted numerous musical assemblies, including the Music Technology one that was well received, with awesome reviews from the kids and parents alike. The kids were able to record their own voices and create an electronic piece of music to rival a movie soundtrack!
We also held a virtual Magic Show by a District 96 alumnus who entertained the kids during an Asynchronous Day.
Despite the inability to gather at the school, we were able to have a Virtual Science Fair where kids were given the supplies and instructions to create scientific marvels of movement.
Finally, the Code Ninjas enrichment STEM activity was sponsored by the PTO. Over 30 Country Meadows families participated.
All this was possible due to volunteer efforts and donations from our wonderful Country Meadows parents and families!
The PTO continues to work hard behind the scenes with new opportunities for our kids! Please make sure to keep up with Social Media so you don't miss anything coming up!
