Save the Date! Come to the Book Fair at Barnes & Noble Deer Park on Friday, Nov. 17th from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Enjoy performances by POMS, band, orchestra and from the musical "Oklahoma" and see the Scholastic Bowl team in action. Got some talent you want to show off? Then sign up for Open Mic at the Book Fair. Sing a song, recite poetry, play an instrument, tell some jokes, or whatever talent you want to share! (Just keep make sure to keep it appropriate--this is a family event, after all.) We will also have some pieces from the Art and Jewelry Clubs available for viewing. THANK YOU to all the parent volunteers who helped out at the Fall Party last week!! Without your help, we couldn't have handled such an amazing record number of kids attending - 293!! One of the projects the parent volunteers helped with that night, was running our own Photo Booth using some of the technology that was purchased with funds raised by the PTO! Here is an example of the quality photos taken by our talented and hard working volunteers!
We will be distributing the pictures at school this Friday, November 3, 2017. Not every student wanted to have their picture taken that night. Please email Christina Angelos if your child thinks they took a picture at the Fall Party and didn't receive one.
The Community Service Club has wrapped up their Box Top Collection and will be discussing and voting on their next project at the meeting onMonday, November 6, 2017. If your child has time in their schedule we encourage them to come out to this fun and rewarding club.
