IN OUR SCHOOLS

What a Willow Walk!  Willow Grove students walked the perimeter of the school grounds Thursday morning, for the annual Willow Walk, getting some morning air and exercising their little bodies and finishing their walk with a high-five, wave or hug from Buddy the Bear.

Business-Minded:  Ivy Hall 2nd Graders participated in the school’s annual MarketPlace Friday morning, showcasing the goods and services they were selling to their fellow schoolmates and teachers. MarketPlace is the culmination of their students' studies in economics on producers and consumers. Their MarketPlace goods and services spanned the gamut, from bookmarks, drawings and wall art to fortune tellers and paper airplanes; to having a story read to them tolearning a dance or playing an international flag board game to learning words and phrases in Amharic and Russian.
