Congratulations, District 96 Board of Education

Congratulations to the District 96 Board of Education, one of only 45 School Boards in Illinois to earn the IASB 2023 School Board Governance Recognition designation.  

“This recognition is designed to acknowledge those school boards that have engaged in activities and modeled behaviors that lead to excellence in local school governance in support of quality public education,” according to the congratulatory letter.        

The District Board will be acknowledged at the October 11 Lake Division Meeting.  

Congratulations again, to this hard-working board: Board President Marc Tepper, Vice President Mike Burns, Secretary Dina Manka and Members Dr. Amy Feygin, Renee Klass, Jose Rivera and Cynthia Zarkowsky.

Band and Orchestra parents: The deadline is coming soon ~ Sunday, October 1 ~ to order Polo shirts for students in the Band and Orchestra.

Reminder: Outstanding Health, Vision Exams Due October 15

Reminder:  October 15 is the deadline for families to turn in outstanding Child Health Exam or Proof of Dental Exam forms or waivers/exemptions.  If you haven’t already done so, please make an appointment for your child’s health examination and request that your medical provider complete the required form and return it to your child’s school. 

These forms are to be turned in to the office at your child’s school.
