MAP Testing Next Week

The MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) assessment will be administered in all District 96 schools in grades K-8 on Monday, December 5, and Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

In Our Schools

Dual Language chatter: This week, District 96 hosted a meeting for families in its Dual Language program.

Lunch with the Superintendent:  Earlier in this week, on one of her weekly visits to D96 schools, Supt. Katie Sheridan visits Prairie Elementary School during lunchtime, chatting it up with students.  That chat included her helping a student find one of his lost gloves, an item Supt. Sheridan found where he’d lost it outside during recess.  Each week, she visits schools and classrooms to watch learning in process and meet and chat with students and staff.
