District 96 Families:
This week's cooler temperatures reminded us that this upcoming month is truly the heart of fall. During this month, we also acknowledge our schools’ leaders ~ Jennifer Smith, Michelle Garlick, Mike Senatore, Karen L. Cumpata, Christine Pfaff, Jessica Barnes and Greg Grana ~ during National Principals Month. (They enjoy great support from our Assistant Principals: Megan Payne, Julie Shaver, Samantha Heinrich, Joshua Higgins, Winifred Clausell, Lauren Delahanty and Jessica Groncki.)
This month also starts with several days of No School for students ~ from Wednesday to the following Monday, Oct. 5-7 and Oct. 10.

- October 17: "Building Resilient, Self-Motivated Children" with Author Ned Johnson (7 p.m., via Zoom)
See You at Fall Family–Educator Conferences
The conferences will take place on Thursday, October 6, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., and Friday, October 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Please see the Principal Message for your child's school for details on how you access the video conference through Meet the Teacher and how to add other parents/guardians to the conferences.
Meet the Teacher sign up will close at 11:55 p.m. on Sunday, October 2. After that, you must contact your child's school office in order to schedule a conference or make a change to an existing conference.
