Fall Conferences Coming in October

Fall Family/Educator Conferences are right around the corner!  

The conferences will take place on Thursday, October 6, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday, October 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  

We will continue using Meet the Teacher as an electronic sign up for conferences.  A sign-up link will be shared via School Messenger from the district on Monday, September 19, at 6 p.m. 

Parents and guardians will be able to schedule remote or in-person conferences.

 

Don’t Miss Tech Talk for Families

Learn about District 96 technology offerings and how to keep your child and family safe on the internet in a session hosted by D96 later this month. 

The event is “Family Tech Talk,” with D96 Technology Director Lucas Cowden and D96 Resource Officer Mr. Essig.                   Family Tech Talk presenters on September 28, 2022

The session begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, in-person, in the Mat Room at Ivy Hall Elementary School, 1072 Ivy Hall Lane, Buffalo Grove.

 

 

 

 

 

SHS Hosts Junior Basketball Team Tryouts

Stevenson High School’s Juniors Patriots Boys and Girls Basketball is back!

For the fall and winter, organizers are bringing back the Junior Patriots Basketball Program for 6th-8th boys and girls who currently live in the District 125 (which includes District 96 students).

This “highly competitive” program will have up to two Boys teams and two Girls teams in each grade.  There is a $25 fee to try out; that fee includes a practice jersey.  Players who make the team will have a $600 fee for the season that includes a full uniform and shooting shirt.

Tentative tryout dates are Sunday, Oct. 30 and Nov. 6. Players should attend both tryout days.
