Can you believe it’s September, already, and we’re on the eve of our first three-day weekend of the school year!  Enjoy these days and soak up the last few rays of summer sunshine, before we hunker down for the dig into the 2022-23 school year.

  • September 5:  No School (Labor Day)
  • September 6:  Board of Education meeting (7 p.m., Mat Room, Ivy Hall)
  • September 20:  Early Release Day
    • Grades 1-5 dismiss at 2:05 p.m.
    • Grades 6-8 dismiss at 1:30 p.m.
    • Kindergarten dismisses at 2:05 p.m.
    • Structured: 8:30 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.
    • Blended AM: 8:30 to 10 a.m.
    • Blended PM: 12:35 to 2:05 p.m.
  • September 28:  Family Tech Talk (7 p.m., Mat Room Ivy Hall)

 

Tech Talk for Families

Learn about District 96 technology offerings and how to keep your child and family safe on the internet in a session hosted by D96 later this month.                                    Family Tech Talk set for Sept. 28, 2022

The event is "Family Tech Talk," with 96 Technology Director Lucas Cowden and D96 Resource Officer Michael Essig.

The session begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, in the Mat Room at Ivy Hall Elementary School.   

 

 

 

Reminder:  Report Student Absences to Your Child’s School

To ensure your child’s school gets the relevant information they need, please contact the school’s Administrative Assistant if your child is going to be absent or if you need to make changes in drop-off or pick-ups.
