Monday and Tuesday of next week are our Family Collaborative Conferences, where students will take the lead in presenting what they’ve learned during this past trimester. Monday is an Early Release Day, and there is no school on Tuesday. Please note there is also no school on Friday, a Teacher Institute Day.

Humanitarian Relief Effort
As shared in Superintendent Schmidt’s March 9 message, the Lake County Superintendents are coordinating a humanitarian relief effort that will include both fundraising and the collection of requested donation items. While the information regarding monetary donations was shared this week, more information regarding the expanded efforts will be coming soon.
Sign up for Lottery for Dual Language Program
On Wednesday night, D96’s Director of Language and Early Literacy, Katie Sheridan, introduced Willow Grove parents to the school’s Dual Language Program. That program immerses a select number of students in classes where instruction is delivered in both languages (50 percent of the academic day curriculum in each language). Those at the virtual meeting watched former Kindergarten Dual Language students reading and speaking in Spanish and English.
Willow Grove parents who are interested in enrolling their child(ren) in the Dual Language Program are asked to fill out the Lottery Form at https://forms.gle/L9oLoHVU2EB6dost5 by 3 p.m. April 15. To participate in the lottery, your student must be fully registered.

Registration now open for the 2022-23 school year
Registration is now open for the 2022-23 school year. Register today to take advantage of the Early Bird Discount: Those who register after April 15 will pay an additional $20 (per child).
Note ~ Fees are:
- Early Childhood/Blended Tuition: $2,870 (or, $335.07 monthly)
- Kindergarten: $90
- Grades 1-4: $110
- Grade 5: $120
- Grades 6-8: $135
