No surprise … congrats!
It comes as no surprise that all 6 of KCSD 96’s eligible schools (qualifying metrics not available for our Early Learning Center) were named tops in the nation in the inaugural rating of elementary and middle schools by U.S. News & World Report. For decades, the magazine has rated colleges and universities and high schools.
This is another impressive acknowledgement of all the strategic planning, best practices and hard work our administrators, staff and students put into the KCSD brand.

From our schools
On Thursday, State Rep. Chris Bos visited Kildeer Countryside Elementary School, where he was “Principal for the Day.” He toured the school and visited several classrooms, learning about the 1-5 grade elementary school and how it is managing in a post-pandemic environment. He visited the school a week earlier, answering dozens of questions from third graders eager to ask about his legislative work and life.
His visit Thursday to Kildeer Countryside Elementary School ~ as Principal for The Day ~ is an initiative promoted by the Illinois Principals Association.
Congrats to the KCSD 96 principals and assistant principals ~ like Twin Groves Assistant Principal Lauren Delahanty ~ who received tokens of appreciation from the BOE earlier this month.
