SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH SURVEY 

Have you taken the Superintendent Search Survey yet?

The survey can be accessed here or from a link on our website.  The 18-question survey will stay open through Oct. 8.  The results will contribute to a leadership profile that will be presented to the Board of Education during its Oct.19, 2021, meeting.

SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH FOCUS GROUPS

As previously mentioned, there are several opportunities planned for parents and parent groups, District staff, community members and other stakeholders to share input on desired characteristics in our next Superintendent of Schools. A separate virtual focus group will be held for the parents of each of our schools.  In addition, two open virtual forums will be held that are open to all stakeholders.

FALL PARENT/EDUCATOR CONFERENCES

Please look for invitations to the Fall Parent/Educator Conferences in the coming days!

The Fall Parent/Educator Conferences will take place from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 7, and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 8.  

We will continue using Meet the Teacher as an electronic sign-up for conferences.  A sign-up link will be shared via email from the district at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20. 

Parents and guardians will be able to schedule in-person or remote conferences.

THOUGHT EXCHANGE PARTNERSHIP

Could the Thought Exchange Partnership be looking for you?

KCSD 96 invites parents to consider joining the Thought Exchange Partnership, which offers them opportunities to give feedback and receive information about District instruction, programs and initiatives.

Understanding parent perceptions is helpful for planning and communications.

TEP meetings for the 2021-22 school year are from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays (via Zoom):
