Congratulations ~ to you and your student for arriving at the start of the new school year!

We hope you had a great time on Thursday and Friday meeting new teachers, staff, and classmates and reconnecting with folks you haven’t seen in awhile!

It was great having everyone back!  Please continue to follow and reinforce the three W’s: Wear your mask; Watch your space (social distancing); and Wash your hands frequently. This helps to minimize any potential disruptions to in-person learning.

Let’s make this a great year!

Curriculum Nights Up Next

Coming up next week are our Curriculum Nights, during which parents can learn about various school procedures and hear ‘what’ their students are learning in all disciplines.  This is a parents--only event, which will be offered in hybrid format: Your child’s school will share separate links with you for the administrator section and for the teacher session of the event. About Busing

PLEASE NOTE:  There continues to be a workforce shortage on a national and local level.  This is significantly impacting the ability of all transportation companies to fill driver openings.  First Student continues to have unfilled driver positions for District 96 bus routes.  They have been using substitute and "borrowed" drivers from other regions to fill our needs the last few days, but the reality is that the positions remain unfilled and a "Band-Aid" plan is being created for each day.  Our Director of Transportation continues to meet with First Student multiple times per day to problem-solve.  We will continue to keep you updated on what is likely to be an ongoing challenge.
