SUPPORT FOR PARENTS: COMMUNITY PARENT NETWORK VIRTUAL PROGRAM – Sept. 22
The Community Parent Network, serving families in the Area 125 Stevenson Consortium, has invited Clinical Psychologist Dr. Doug Bolton to present a virtual program on Tues., Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. The topic is Building Resilience During a Pandemic. Dr. Bolton will share strategies to help parents teach and model resilience to manage stress effectively in anxious pandemic times and in the future. FAMILY EDUCATOR CONFERENCES IN OCTOBER
Family Educator Conferences will be held virtually by appointment on Thurs., Oct. 8, 5–8:30 p.m., and Fri., Oct. 9, 10 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Conferences were moved from November to October to provide teachers and families the opportunity to discuss action steps for improvement before the reporting period closes. Check Principal Messages in the weeks ahead for more information about how Family Educator Conference appointments will be scheduled.

HAVE YOU MET HEALTH FORM REQUIREMENTS?
Health forms are due Oct. 15 to your school nurse for all kindergartners, all students new to District 96 in the current 2020-21 school year, and all new and returning students enrolled in Grade 6.
