• Restocking the Pantry
We’ve been informed that the pantry organized and operated by the Exceptional Learners Collaborative (ELC) to serve our community would welcome donations of the following items from families able to do so:
macaroni & cheese (cups or boxes), canned foods (veggies/fruits/tuna/chicken/beans), granola bars, tortillas, cheese (shredded/sliced), eggs, deli meats, frozen ground beef/chicken

Please deliver on weekdays only to collection boxes outside the ELC front entrance, 990 Corporate Woods Parkway, Vernon Hills, from 8 AM–3 PM. Please ring the doorbell if delivering perishable items or gift cards.

• Registering Now for 2020–21 Is Important
Why do we continue the reminder to register? An accurate enrollment is extremely important for anticipating staffing needs and controlling class sizes. If you have not yet registered your new or returning District 96 student for the upcoming school year, please send an email to the KCSD96 public information coordinator for details and info about options for delaying/waiving registration fee payment.

• Ordering 2020–21 School Supply Kits
District 96 PTOs are again offering parents the option to purchase school supply kits for their students for the upcoming school year. Order directly from the vendor and include the specific 5-digit code for the school your student will attend. New this year, school supply kits will be delivered directly to the family's home–not to the school. The last day to order is July 10. See SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS/ SCHOOL SUPPLY KIT ORDERING INFO

• Complete the 2020 Census
Starting in May, census takers will begin visiting homes that have not responded to the 2020 Census to help make sure everyone is counted. Please COMPLETE THE CENSUS.
