AN INVITATION TO ALL NEW FAMILIES IN OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Has your family recently moved to the United States, or are you and your student(s) new to this area?

On Tues., Nov. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Ivy Hall School Mat Room, 1072 Ivy Hall Ln., Buffalo Grove, parents of recently registered students in Early Childhood – Grade 8 (as well as parents new to KCSD96 in this 19–20 school year) are invited to a District-Wide New Parent Coffee and Conversation.

This is an opportunity to ask questions about the school district and to meet other parents, including those who share the experience of relocating their families and navigating new and different social customs and educational practices.

If you missed the Newcomer Night on Aug. 7, we encourage you to attend. Likewise, we also welcome you to be a part of the conversation if you did attend on Aug. 8! Hearing your insight and discussing experiences since the start of the school year will help inform us about how we can best support new families.

Your RSVP helps us plan. Please direct questions to District 96 Parent Liaison Lubna Andrabi, 847.459.4260, ext. 8136.
