WHAT’S FOR BREAKFAST? WHAT’S FOR LUNCH?
Scroll down to the MENU for the school(s) of your choice.

MAKING PAYMENT FOR STUDENT LUNCHES
The K-12 PAYMENT CENTER is the system KCSD96 uses to allow parents to make online prepayment of their students’ lunches. Use a debit or credit card to make deposits (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). The following fees (recently revised) apply:
–Transactions up to $100 will receive a flat transaction fee of $1.95
–Transactions over $100 will receive a transaction fee of 2.99% of the total prepayment

Coming later this fall: ACH (Electronic Checking Account) payments will allow an unlimited deposit amount for a minimal transaction fee. Watch E-NEWS 96 for more info....

RUNNING LATE? NOT FEELING WELL?
If your child will be absent or arriving late to school, be sure to call the school office before or within the first hour of regular attendance time to inform the staff. If the office is not open, leave a voice mail message. Be sure to speak clearly and include your student’s first and last name, homeroom teacher, and your follow-up phone number, if needed.

LOTS TO LEARN ABOUT OUR WEBSITE
One question we’ve heard you’re asking: Where can I find Board of Education information?
On the homepage of the District 96 website (kcsd96.org), look to the top of the webpage for a drop-down menu labeled Board of Education.

Find links there to Board member info, scheduled meeting dates, archived meeting minutes, and the District’s Board of Education Policy Manual. E-NEWS 96 will also include a link to an upcoming regularly scheduled Board meeting agenda on the Friday prior to the scheduled meeting date.

WHEN WILL THERE BE ACCESS TO THE FAMILY DIRECTORY ONLINE?
On or around Aug. 30, District 96 parents will receive an email from our online Family Directory vendor with information about how to log in with their temporary password. Instructions about setting a password, searching the directory, and downloading the mobile app will be included in that email. Note that access to this District 96 2019–20 Student Family Directory is limited only to District 96 parents of registered students. NO link will be posted to give public access to 2019–20 directory information.

In the meantime, families who were included in the previous school year’s online directory still have access. Find the Student Family Directory link in the drop-down “Directory” menu located at the top of District and school home pages.
