PTO FAIRS
PTO Fairs will be ongoing at schools during Meet-the-Teacher and Locker Set-Up Days. Parent/Teacher Organizations (PTOs) are KCSD96 parents volunteering their time and talent. PTOs plan school community events that families enjoy and raise funds for “extras,” such as cultural arts programs to enhance curriculum.

Before Meet-the-Teacher and/or Locker Set-Up Day, please create or update your Membership Toolkit account at each District 96 school at which you have a child attending. Use this convenient account to purchase/donate/make payment and to volunteer.

Update or create your PTO Membership Toolkit account now at each school at which you have a student attending:

REMEMBER THAT SUMMER READING ASSIGNMENT
Grades KDG – 8 have a 2019 summer reading assignment!
Reading during the summer is critically important for a student’s continued growth. KCSD96 faculty have provided a parent letter, reading resources, and assignment details for all 2019–20 students:

SUMMER READING RESOURCES/ASSIGNMENT FOR GRADES 6–8

WHAT ABOUT SCHOOL SUPPLIES?
If you preordered a school supply kit last spring for the 2019–20 school year, you’ll find it in your student’s classroom or an area designated for pick-up in your student’s school.

If you did not preorder a school supply kit, SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS are available online by grade level.

If you aren’t sure whether you ordered a school supply kit, log in to your PTO Membership Toolkit account at the school your student will attend in 2019–2020 to look for a record of your purchase.

Sorry–school supply kits are pre-order only and most schools do not have them available for purchase at this time. Check your school's PTO Blog (find the link in the Principal's Message) for info regarding extra school kit availability, if any.

APPLYING FOR FREE & REDUCED MEAL BENEFITS?
Free and reduced-price meals are available throughout the 2019–2020 school year to families who qualify. If you believe your family might qualify, CLICK HERE to apply online.
