WHEN WILL THE 2018–19 ONLINE FAMILY DIRECTORY BE AVAILABLE?

We are in process changing over the Family Directory database from last school year to the current 2018–2019 school year. An export of initial data occurred yesterday.

When that process is complete, you’ll receive an email notifying you that you have access to the 2018–2019 Family Directory.

We regret the inconvenience during the interim. We expect the 2018-19 Family Directory to be accessible by Sept 20, or before.

LOTS TO LEARN ABOUT OUR WEBSITE
One question we’ve heard you’re asking: Where can I find info about community-sponsored after-school programs and family events?

On the homepage of the District 96 website (kcsd96.org), scroll down below the large photo and – in the list of links with the heading “I want to…” – select “See the Virtual Backpack.” Each week, a link to the Virtual Backpack is included at the end of E-NEWS 96 and new additions to the backpack are listed.

On the VIRTUAL BACKPACK webpage, find opportunities grouped under headings for the sponsoring organizations. Click on the individual event listed to view a digital flyer with more info.

The Virtual Backpack includes a LEARN A LANGUAGE link, as well, where opportunities for elementary students to take after-school classes in world languages are listed.

If you have questions about the District and school websites, please direct them to the public information coordinator, 847.459.4260, ext. 8022
