LOTS TO LEARN ABOUT OUR WEBSITE

One question we’ve heard you’re asking: Where can I find curriculum information?

On the homepage of the District website (kcsd96.org), scroll down below the large photo and –in the list of links with the heading "Tell me about..." – select "Curriculum & Instruction."

On the Curriculum & Instruction webpage, find links to assessment information, directions for accessing student progress reports online, and more.

To see the Learning Targets for District 96 students at every grade level in every subject area, choose “What Students Learn” from the list of links on the right-hand side of the Curriculum & Instruction webpage. Pacing Guides with Learning Targets included are linked there for Kindergarten–Grade 5 and for Grades 6–8.

If you have questions about the District and school websites, please direct them to the public information coordinator, 847.459.4260, ext. 8022

KCSD96 TEXT MESSAGE OPT-IN PROCESS  Have you texted YES?
District 96 uses the School Messenger system to communicate with our parent community by email and–in some instances–also by text message and/or phone call.

If you would like to receive text messages from School District 96 when the subject and nature of the communication warrant our sending them (to advise you of a late-returning bus, for example), it’s necessary for you first to have sent a text message of Y or YES to this District 96 short code number: 67587. Or, if you prefer, use your mobile phone to scan the QR code in this School Messenger FLYER (English & Spanish) and send your Y or YES reply.
To opt out of our text messages, simply reply STOP to any text message District 96 sends you.

Please be advised that standard message and data rates for text messaging may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
