DISTRICT 96 FRIENDS & ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO STEVENSON CLASS OF 2018 STUDENTS

The Marc Spivak Service Scholarship, honoring former District 96 Board of Education President Marc Spivak, recognizes former District 96 students for whom service is a passion. District 96 alumni Kaily Chow (Woodlawn) and Jack Aiello (Twin Groves) each were awarded $1000 scholarships given in honor of student advocate and Foundation founder Marc Spivak.

The Dr. Thomas W. Many Scholarship recognizes extraordinary commitment to academics, service, and leadership. District 96 alumni Ilyssa Muise (Twin Groves) and Michael Lee (Woodlawn) each received $1000 scholarships given in honor of the former District 96 Superintendent Thomas W. Many and his commitment to helping every child achieve his or her maximum potential.

The Lauren Gordon Memorial Scholarship was presented to District 96 alumna Angelica Lopez (Twin Groves). The $1000 scholarship honors former District 96 Board of Education member and passionate parent volunteer Mrs. Lauren Gordon, who passed away in February 2016.
