WHEN WILL THERE BE ACCESS TO THE STUDENT FAMILY DIRECTORY ONLINE?
All District 96 parents who indicated in online registration that they wanted their information included in the directory will receive an email from My School Anywhere with information about how to log in with their temporary password. Instructions about setting a password, searching the directory, and downloading the mobile app will be included in that email. Note that access to this 2017–18 Student Family Directory is limited only to District 96 parents who chose to be included in the directory. NO link will be posted to give public access to 2017-18 student directory information.

We anticipate sending the My School Anywhere emails with log in instructions on or around Aug. 30.

In the meantime, families who were included in the previous school year’s online directory still have access. Find the Student Family Directory link in the drop-down “Directory” menu located at the top of District and school home pages.

LOTS TO LEARN ABOUT OUR WEBSITE
One question we’ve heard you’re asking: What’s a Virtual Backpack?

The District 96 district and school websites each have one–a place where links to flyers for community events and to school forms such as reading calendars or school event permission forms are listed.

A link to the Virtual Backpack on the District website is included weekly under COMMUNITY NEWS at the end of every E-NEWS 96 issue. Be sure to click each week to see what’s listed–links are updated frequently. In the District VIRTUAL BACKPACK, you’ll also find links to your student’s school Virtual Backpack – a convenient way to jump from one virtual backpack to another.

WORTH FINDING THE TIME
We know that parents’ time is limited, so we choose parent program topics/speakers we know will give you useful, relevant info. We start on time (at 7:00 p.m.) and end on time (at 8:30 p.m.). And no worries–parents who have to arrive late or leave early are welcome. Plan to attend for any or all of this helpful program:
Tues., Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., Twin Groves Middle School:
Guest speaker: Dr. Michael Maniacci discusses and answers your questions about
Effective Discipline for Elementary & Middle School-Age Children
