I grew up in Buffalo Grove and went to Twin Groves! I went on to Stevenson and then to University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Distinction from the Department of Mathematics with a degree in Mathematics, Psychology, and Secondary Education, as well as being part of the James Scholar honors program. My concentration in Psychology was in the cognitive field, which includes learning, memory, problem solving, insight, and creativity.
