Welcome to the KCSD96 community! Please view the information below to get started with the registration process.

Contact the office at the school your student(s) will attend to provide proof of residency and required documentation. Contact information can be found HERE.

Provide the following required documents:
- Child's Birth Certificate or Passport or Visa
- Copy of a parent/guardian Driver's License or Passport
- Most Recent (within 30 days) Mortgage Statement or Signed Lease or Property Tax Bill
- Most Recent (within 30 days) Utility Bill
- Residency Form [English | Japanese | Korean | Polish | Russian | Spanish]
- Home Language Survey [English | Japanese | Korean | Polish | Russian | Spanish]
- Enrollment Information [English | Japanese | Korean | Polish | Russian | Spanish]
After all required documentation is provided, an email containing the online registration link will be sent to complete registration.
Check Health Records Requirements and submit required forms to your child's school.

Updated Information

Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, delayed enrollment will not be permitted, including in Kindergarten.

Any child being registered in District 96:

who is five years old on or before September 1st of a given school year will be enrolled in Kindergarten.
who is six years old on or before September 1st of a given school year will be enrolled in first grade.
