Eric Santos is a 20-year veteran educator, college professor, and K–12 educational technology leader who helps schools make sense of artificial intelligence in practical, responsible ways. He works with teachers, leaders, students, and families on AI literacy, classroom use, digital citizenship, and healthy technology boundaries. Virtual event at 7pm. Simplifying Stevenson is a popular Q&A program designed for parents of current Grade 8 students. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, January 27, at 7:00 p.m. at Twin Groves Middle School.

Hosted by KCSD96 Parent Series, the program provides parents with the opportunity to hear directly from Stevenson High School student panelists, (who are D96 alumni) along with SHS Principal Troy Gobble, as they share insights and answer questions about the transition to high school. Topics include course selection and extracurricular involvement, summer school decisions, adjusting from middle school to high school, balancing academic demands, and more!

On Tuesday, April 27 at 7:00 PM, parents and guardians of current 5th grade students are warmly invited to attend our Transition to Middle School Information Night.

This evening is designed to help families feel confident and prepared as their child enters sixth grade at Twin Groves and Woodlawn. Administrators will share important information about academics, schedules, student supports, extracurricular opportunities, and what to expect during the first year of middle school. There will also be time to address common questions.
A special highlight of the evening will be a student panel featuring current sixth graders, who will share their experiences and offer helpful insights about their transition to middle school.
