Early Childhood Programs

Our Early Childhood program supports the growth and development of young learners, 3-5 years old (pre-kindergarten), through engaging, play-based learning experiences. We are proud to offer a continuum of early childhood services, designed to meet the diverse needs of our students in the most supportive and inclusive settings possible.

All children entering our preschool participate in a developmental screening, which helps us understand their strengths and areas of need. Based on screening results, children may join our program through one of two ways:

With an Individualized Education Program (IEP), if eligible, for special education services.

As a tuition-paying peer in our blended classrooms.

Our blended classrooms include both students with IEPs and community peers, whose families pay tuition for their child to attend the program, learning side-by-side in a rich, inclusive environment led by passionate, certified educators. In our Blended Early Childhood classrooms, approximately 30 percent of students have an IEP, and about 70 percent are community peers. We also offer a range of additional services along the continuum, including walk-in speech support and more targeted programming based on individual student needs.

Requirements:
Students must be 3 - 5 years old and must be residents of Kildeer School District 96.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday
     AM: 8:40–11:10 AM
     PM: 12:35–3:05 PM
(The Blended Early Childhood program will follow the Kildeer School District 96 school calendar.)

Cost (Please deliver payment to the District 96 Business Office):
The Early Childhood Blended Program is a tuition-based program.

The cost is $335.07 per month. The first tuition payment is due upon registration.  The second and all remaining tuition payments are due on the 1st day of each month from October 1st through May 1st. Tuition paid in full at the beginning of the school year is $2870.00. Monthly tuition payments are billed online prior to the due date, with payment reminders emailed on the 25th of the month prior. A $15 late fee will be added for any monthly tuition payment received after the 10th of the month.
