BOARD OF EDUCATION
The District 96 Board of Education comprises seven area residents elected to serve four-year terms.
Board members, along with District faculty and staff, are committed to the following values in meeting the academic and social/emotional needs of District 96 students.
The Board of Education meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, unless otherwise noted. The Committee of the Whole meeting is on the first Tuesday, the Regular meeting is held on the third Tuesday.
Board Meetings are held in the Educational Development Center (EDC) located in Ivy Hall Elementary School, 1072 Ivy Hall Lane, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 - unless otherwise noted. Notice of changes in meeting times and locations will be issued and posted online.
Board meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., Finance Committee meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and Policy Committee meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Meeting dates, times and locations are posted on the District 96 website.
