After a months-long Superintendent Search involving many in the community, the KCSD 96 School Board has named its next school leader: Kathryn Sheridan, KCSD 96's Director of Language and Early Literacy and former middle school assistant principal and elementary school principal.
On July 1, 2022, Mrs. Sheridan assumes the role of School Superintendent, succeeding Supt. Julie Schmidt, who has announced her plans to retire.
