Woodlawn PTO Blog - September 15, 2017

Thank you to everyone who came out to our General Meeting this past Wednesday!  If you have any questions regarding what was discussed, or if you didn't attend the General Meeting and would like more information regarding our PTO's plans for this year, please do not hesitate to contact one of the Executive Board Members.

The First Community Service Club Meeting was held on Monday, 9/11/17.  Mr. Grana and Ms. Bird discussed our school's participation in the Hurricane Relief Efforts initiated by District 96 to assist a School District that was effected by the recent Hurricane in Texas. The Community Service Club along with the Student Council will be holding a collection which will be organized and run by the students.  If your child missed the first meeting and is interested in joining the Community Service Club, meetings will be held EVERY MONDAY after school from 2:30-3:15.  For more information, please contact Amy Neault.

The first Dessert Day of the year was a success last Friday!  Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to assist in passing out the treats.  If you haven't placed your order for any of the future Dessert Days, visit Membership Toolkit to do so.

The first Special Lunch of the year was today and thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help. Be sure to ask your child how they liked their lunch from Culver's.  Feedback is always welcome!  If you still need to place an order for Special Lunch for the rest of the school year, please visit Membership Toolkit.
