Middle School Schedule -Opportunities to Learn More!
Twin Groves and Woodlawn will be hosting the following Parent Information Nights. Parents are able to attend either night, regardless of their home school. I hope that you can come and witness first hand the progress and process we went through, creating our new schedule for the benefit of our students.
April 5 at Woodlawn, 7:00-8:00 PM
April 13 at Twin Groves, 7:00-8:00 PM
There also will be a parent coffee in the Woodlawn Learning Center on April 18 from 8:00-9:00 AM.
**I recommend that you reread my blog from last week for information on the new schedule and the changes to our math curriculum.
Student Council
Next week student council will be raising to make meals for the homeless. We will be doing this by having a different kind of "spirit week.” In order to participate students will need to donate $1 per day for the special activity for the day. All money will be collected in your homerooms.
Monday = there will be a "breakfast cart" in the cafeteria where students can purchase a juice box or safe breakfast treat ($1 for each item)
Tuesday = Hat Day
Wednesday = $1 to bring and eat a SAFE SNACK in homeroom - It must be a fruit or veggie (no dips)
Thursday = PJ and slipper day
Friday= Students can pay $1 to be able to bring your ipad to lunch and play games (ONLY during lunch)
All money collected will be used to buy and make meals for the homeless. This is a Student Council event!!
