BETTER OUTCOMES FOR YOUR KIDS– Sept. 12 @ 7 p.m.
With lives so busy, does it make sense to try to make time for another parent program?
Yes!–when attending brings insight and strategies that really do make a positive difference at home.
All interested parents are invited to hear guest speaker Dr. Michael Maniacci discuss Effective Discipline Without Punishment or Intimidation: Lead Your Kids to Better Outcomes
Plan to join D96 parents of kindergartners through 8th graders on Tues., Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., in the Twin Groves Middle School Learning Center. Dr. Maniacci’s long-time popularity with D96 parents has everything to do with his engaging presentations, expertise, practical strategies, and straightforward answers to parents’ questions. You’ll leave with info that will help you improve your parenting skills. (“I’d come to any program this guy presented!” a D96 dad noted on his evaluation sheet for a previous program by Dr. Maniacci.) MORE INFO

BUILDING A CONNECTED PARENT COMMUNITY
Wouldn’t it be nice to know other D96 parents with kids your children’s ages, ask each other questions, talk about concerns, laugh about our expectations and experiences?

How about taking just an hour to equip yourself to be a better parent and hear strategies from experts, perspectives on the school years ahead, ideas about what kids need to succeed?

This is what happens at District 96 Parent Conversations, and you’re invited.

Join in the next conversation–on Tues., Sept. 19, from 9–10:15 a.m. in the Community Room on the second floor of Sunset Foods at the intersection of Rt. 83 and Aptakisic. Questions? Send email to [email protected] or call 847.459.4260, ext. 8022.
