DISTRICT 96 RECEIVES BOND RATING UPGRADE

Kildeer Countryside CCSD 96 bond rating was recently upgraded by Moody’s Investors Service from “Aa1” to “Aaa.” This rating is a measure of the investment quality of the District’s bonds and is based on a variety of factors, including the District’s financial strength and stability. The rating upgrade places the District 96 in an elite category; of 873 Illinois public school districts, only twenty have a bond rating of "Aaa."

“We are pleased with this upgrade,” said Jon Hitcho, Assistant Superintendent for Business. “This is solid evidence that the investment community holds Kildeer Countryside School District 96 in very high esteem due to our strong tax base, high level of community support, and well-managed school district resources.” In the event that the District would have reason to borrow, the district’s savings will be increased due to the bond rating upgrade.

Any questions about the bond rating upgrade can be directed to Jon Hitcho, Assistant Superintendent for Business, at 847-459-4260.
