Requirement to Prove Residency
This requirement saves District taxpayers by helping to expose the increasing number of fraudulent enrollment attempts for students living outside District 96.
Parents of currently enrolled kindergartners and fifth graders must prove residency for their students before they can register that student in District 96 for the upcoming 2017–2018 school year. (If residency is not proven for a student, his/her online registration will be blocked and the student will not be given a 2017-18 teacher assignment or class schedule.)
To confirm residency, it’s necessary for parents to visit Willow Grove Kindergarten Center or the elementary school their student attends currently.
• current monthly mortgage statement OR Tax bill OR a current lease statement
(you may black out financial info)
• a current utility bill with name and address included
The administrative assistant will make copies of the original documents you provide.
Hours to prove residency:
8 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. weekdays when District 96 schools are in session
